The Emporium Center is available to individuals, non-profits, and other organizations for events, parties, receptions, weddings, reunions, and more. Rentals are booked by the Arts & Culture Alliance. Emporium Capacity
The main gallery space (downstairs) is approximately 26' x 100'. The Balcony gallery space (upstairs) is approximately 25' x 50' and includes three 8’x8’ wall partitions. The approximate capacity for the combined spaces is 500 people for standing receptions or 220 for seated receptions.

Equipment available
Thanks to the City of Knoxville, the Arts & Culture Alliance can make available:
+ 100 black plastic chairs (free of charge)
+ Four 6' rectangular folding tables (free of charge)
+ Four 8' rectangular folding tables (free of charge)
+ Eight 72" round tables, seating 8-10 people
+ Thirteen 60" x 72" oval tables, seating 8-10 people

The mission of the Arts & Culture Alliance is to serve and support a diverse community of artists, arts organizations, and cultural institutions by assuring their creative, financial, and operational well-being. The primary purpose of the Emporium Center is to further the mission stated above. As such, priority will be given to events and/or programming that incorporates this purpose. All functions must be deemed appropriate to the facilities and must not interfere with normal working conditions or current arts/cultural programming. The Alliance reserves the right to deny facility usage to any group for any program which is inconsistent with the Alliance’s or the Emporium Center’s purpose or reputation. Political fundraisers will not be allowed.

The Emporium Annex is a community space featuring a 2,000 sq. ft studio with wooden floors and a 1,000 sq. ft community room with carpeting, a table, and padded chairs. No food or public performances are allowed. These two spaces are rented out for classes, workshops, meetings, and rehearsals as follows:
+ Daytime Use (Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) for $5/hour or $40/month for Alliance members and $60/month for non-members;
+ Weekend Access (Monday - Sunday, 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM) for $15/hour or $75/month for Alliance members and $100/month for non-members.
